SINGER I-Noah is counting on a positive message to take him places in the music industry.

He believes he has a different feel which will ultimately pay off.

“I have a universal sound that no one else has but most of all I stick to righteousness,” I-Noah told the Jamaica Observer.

Though there has been a recent resurgence of roots artists, the 31-year-old I-Noah says negative sounds still dominate the local scene.

“I am not happy with the music right now. Music should have words people can relate to and that will comfort them,” he said. “That’s basically the whole vibes of music, that’s what I want to see.”

Born Clayton Heslop, I-Noah hails from Orange Hill in St Catherine. It is where he developed a love for music, performing at church and community concerts.
