Dream Makers Entertainment Inc. (DMEI) is a Canadian entertainment and media corporation formed in Toronto, Ontario. The corporation harnesses and distributes the creative and cultural products of Africans and their descendants starting with music-related products and gradually moving into other works.

DMEI is wholly owned by Canadian residents. DMEI forms part of the Canadian cultural entrepreneurial landscape designed to exploit and promote local and international content initially through a record label and webcasting with its own digital distribution platform. Specifically, the corporation was formed to tap into the plentiful talent that exists within the African and in its descendants’ communities in Canada, Africa, and worldwide. The corporation’s raison d’etre is to give structure and a voice to content producers within these communities, and to distribute their works digitally.

DMEI’s shareholders jointly possess in excess of fifty years’ experience working in various aspects of the entertainment industry inclusive of dance, media, theatre and music. Dream Makers Entertainment Inc. is led by Chico Kambo, and supported by Winston Mattis. Ms Kambo is a former refugee from Liberia now living in Canada. She is a health care worker with strong ties to the West African business communities here in Canada as well as on continental Africa. Ms Kambo, a music enthusiasts, has led DMEI since its inception two years ago. Mr. Mattis is a musician and composers with many years’ experience working as a songwriter, and recording artists. He has a graduate degree in Public Administration from Queen’s University and is very adept in the policy process.

DMEI has developed a network of superb song writers, producers, arrangers, fashion designers, manuscript writers, entertainment managers, content producers in its short existence. A significant competitive advantage for DMEI is that the enterprise already has proprietary musical works, video, short films, books, fashion items, beauty products, etc. ready for uploading to its digital platform with an imminent launch date. The company’s local and international supplier network is definitely one strategic advantage that will propel its success.
